I was getting conflicting information on the fluid thickness to use on the new V6 Krayton. Horizon Hobby said 20k front, 100k center and 20k rear. The owners manual said 80k front, 100k center, and 80k rear.
To me that’s a big discrepancy so wondering what the consensus things?

Also, it looks like the owners manual recommends 80 weight shock oil does that sound right? Again, Horizon Hobby said 45wt.

The old non EXB diffs used lighter fluid. In any case check the website specs.

It's time to tune your truck's diffs for where and how you drive. Don't be afraid of filling your diffs with the wrong weight of fluid because experimentation is how we learn.

I run 80/1000/50 in my Kraton, all open diffs. I'm sure those numbers will make someone cringe.
