Depending on how you’re going to run it, I would suggest putting bump stops in the bottom of the front shocks. This will keep you from breaking out drives 1/16 or even a quarter inch piece of fuel tubing at the very bottom of the shock rod. Other than that mine has been rock-solid. I did up the pinion gear to 15 tooth. The next thing you’ll need is time a good place and batteries.

I just got my exb I been waiting for on back order for 3 months just wondering what upgrades I should do and what parts to keep on hand?

Nothing.

Bash it as is. Your style will emerge, and you will see what is needed, if any. None of us bash the same; this list is more personal.

Enjoy (y)

Congrats on the EXB. That’s a great truck.

I agree with @parcou. Just run it how you run it and see what breaks or wears out.

Wheels nuts were a thing for me. They seem to loosen up no matter how tight I tighten them.

And I just blew up a center diff…but parts are easy to get so just have fun.

Do you have any pictures of this? Or is there a discussion somewhere? I broke a front outdrive 10 minutes into owning my EXB presumably due to too much up travel and am looking for solutions.

Welcome to the forum
I do not have a pic here at work, but I will take one when I get home. This happen to me 3 times before I got it figured out.
you just need to pull the bottom of the shock out of the A-arm then pull the rod end off then put the tube on and reinstall.

I just got on this train! I think a lot of my RCs end up being a spur of the moment decision. I saw the deal in the classifieds and I started reading a little and now I'm worried I bought a truck truck too big for my usual running areas-lol. And then I read about the Corrally Kagama and now I'm worried I should have gotten a different truck!

A Kraton is a very versatile truck. My advice is Google your location plus "dirtpark", "pump track", "skatepark", and "BMX track", and see what's available. Also search your neighboring cities. There are 5 dirt parks and 3 skateparks with a fourth under construction within 30 minutes of my house. An hours drive there's a racetrack. Do the search and see what you got to work with.

I do know of a few. I read somewhere that skate parks are pretty rough on RC trucks? I never tried though. I will do a google too to see what else there is!
