Grom New release Arrma Granite Grom, mini basher

I thought that only 0808's come with the MMX2 but I guess I am wrong. The 1/18 versions come with a 0808 the 1/16 and 1/14 come with a 1007 or a 1010.

You can get the Mx2 with the 0808 1007, 1010, and even a 1406.
I've got the original micro x with mine since I put it together like 2 years before the Mx2 😆

Sorry fellas I was confused.. it’s actually the 1007 6350kv. The 1010 is about 9mm longer. I had to cut a rib out of the chassis to make the 1007 fit better and allow for the sensor wire. But with that rib removed and the tall esc plate I used you could probably fit the 1010.

Also for any one buying the 10 series combo with the mamba micro x2, they still come with an external bec. So if you want the internal bec you’ll have to trade it in to castle like I did.

@Hammer Down .. what are the actual dimensions of the 1007 motor please, and the bolt fixing hole spacings.. do you have any pics of what you had to remove or any mods to the chassis.??
I have my eye on a TpPower setup but I want a stock looking fit, no cutting or shutting :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I just bought these exact batteries, they fit perfectly! 👍
Mine came with xt60’s and I planned on using xt30’s but the wires on these packs are way to big for those. Now I’m waiting on xt60’s so I can complete my brushless conversion.

Thinking about picking one of these up for the kids after the latest RCGuyGarage vid, does a female Deans to female IC2/EC2 adapter exist?

You mean female IC3 to male Deans?

I’ll take some pics for ya in the next couple days hopefully.

I have those 100c 2S 1.5AH CNHLs and the punch is phenomenal. Picked them up last year (2) for $30 so that’s a steal

I love it! They make the Deans adapters. I got an extra one from HH(battery free w points). Gonna have to go brushless but it’s a friggin blast.

Where are you getting the ic2 to deans adapter?? i didn't find one anywhere (amazon or otherwise).

it's an IC2. i couldn't find any adapter. i'm going to change the plug on the GROM to deans and pick up some 2s batteries with deans. just easier than tying a bunch of adapters together.
No don't do deans do xt60s, they are a much much better connector. Deans are literally the worst plugs I have ever used, the small tabs are a pain to solder wires too, they don't stay together very well and they wear out really fast then loose contact with each other. In the two years I used deans between 4 rc cars I went through at least 20 connectors.

i could see that. i already ordered batteries and such. i could just redo those with xt60s as well. that's a big connector for this little grom :D

That's what I use in my 1/18 Ruckus and they aren't that big. They are slightly larger than the Dean's.

I think I am the only person that actually likes deans plugs. Never had an issue soldering them or them coming unplugged really.
Maybe I need to bash harder 🤔

I vote xt60 though.. They're an awesome plug for smaller jobs.
