I am thinking of getting the Hitec D980TW servo, would this be overkill?

That servo seems slow but strong probably good in a crawler... i was testing my new HD lw-20mg waterproof servo today very impressed with it,I'm a newbie to rc's an even I noticed a big difference from the stock arrma servo and it was about £25 from Ali express,bang good also sell them but are out of stock. Or you could just gt a savox or hitec for about 3X the price
