Talion New Talion 6S motor seized after 6 runs. Replace with same or upgrade?

Based on the distance I had to walk, maybe 4-500ft ? Never bothered to measure.
SR315's antenna is a little shorter and might not clear anything metal i.e. in some directions its probably worse.

I really want to get the DX3 off of Jennys Rc for $70 but I am not sure if it is worth it over the Sr315!!
