I just didn’t like the look with the stock. I put the stock on another rig. Haven’t really driven the stock tires hard yet. They are bigger than I thought and lighter than the belted badlands.

The Badlands look like actual ATV tires on the Fireteam, making them far more appropriate.

The stock tires are good imo, have enough traction when needed, but will get loose when you want them which makes sliding pretty easy.

What this RC was designed for, they are great IMHO. So it really depends on what each person is going to do with it. I like ground bashing, dirt drifting, rough/bumpy terrain, etc. the tires are a perfect fit as this rig floats across the ground and maneuvers great with the stock tires. My Kraton EXB with the BF tires in the same situation cannot duplicate the better performance of the FT.

I do not feel this is the Kraton's strong suit as it better fits the FT as is.

I love the look of the FT tires but the grip was too low for my liking. Felt like the truck was just wasting power because it was just spinning so much. Backflips fixed that! But I totally understand why people would love them as well. I love the badlands tires too, I have them on a rig currently

I took the FT out tonight for some test runs on 4S. You can tell it’s heavier than the kraton for sure. About 3lb’s heavier and most is in the body. This weekend I’m going to do some 6S runs make sure everything is dialed in.waiting on a servo horn and arm but I wanted to drive it so I put a HR one I had on.

6s! I love the ground clearance they give. They are about the same height as stock FT tires

I freaking love the stock Fireteam wheels! They look great imo, good traction, gets loose when you want it to, barely balloon at all and are pretty light compared to any "better" tires.

Thanks , I haven’t decided yet. I wanted the option to or not to run it. with 2-3S batteries you have to get everything a curtain way to get the body on so I’m still figuring that out. Right now I’m just testing it out this weekend I’m going to go 6S and let it rip. I like to test it out first put a 4S pack though it make sure everything’s correct there loctite let it sit 24hrs and try to break it. There was nothing wrong with the stock tires I just like the look and handling better with the badlands.
