My Outcast Hybrid just came in a bit ago! Found it on eBay a week or two ago and pulled the trigger! https://www.ebay.com/itm/ARRMA-OUTC...-/333816736451?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292

Talked the seller down a bit by having him not include the STX2 radio and receiver. Came out to $508 shipping & tax.

Has quite a few upgrades and thought it was a great deal! Luckily I had an extra FS-BS6 receiver.

Mojave front arms, Typhon rear arms, and extra Mojave arms for front and rear. Titanium towers I'm assuming from scorched. MX28s badlands look new. M2C chassis. Tbone Bumpers and a new body.

Only thing I'm not sure of is what shocks it has or what kind of shock stand offs it has too. Amy ideas?

Are the shock caps a 2 piece design with an aluminum lower cap and a plastic upper part? And are the bottom caps pink? They almost look like Hobao Hyper VSe shocks and shock standoffs.

Appears to be 2 piece, don't see any pink though. Are these shocks good? ?

Look under the rubber boot the bottom cap of the shock. If they are Hobao shocks then yes they are good.

They look like these shocks to me http://eshop.hobao-racing.com/p/900...-vse-electric-buggy?pp=24&sort_selection=name
Stand offs http://eshop.hobao-racing.com/p/891...-vse-electric-buggy?pp=96&sort_selection=name

At first I thought they were the shocks off the Tekno EB48 2.0

Pulled down the rubber boots and they're actually black.

Think I should switch out the rear typhon arms for the Mojaves so the rear is the same width as the front? Came with the Mojave dogbones too.

No T2T brace, think I'll need it or should I just install F&R aluminum chassis braces?

Thanks for the help

I would make the front and rear track the same. Front and rear chassis braces.

Got the rear arms switched out and adjusted the steering and shocks.

Noticed there was no need to adjust the droop screws since the shocks are fairly long! The rear can bottom out but the front doesn't. Might blow the front shocks in the future.

Put a 3s battery in it and my 4yr old son took it for a spin in the backyard and had a blast! Turned the throttle down to 40%, didn't want him smashing into the fence or into us ?
