So I purchased a Senton off eBay. I guess it's the previous version because it has the lime green body, but I might be wrong. She runs strong, but it definitely has some miles on her. Every single tie rod has some wear on them, especially the steering links.

A) Do I replace the ends with factory Arrma pieces, and pop some aluminum balls in them (I have all of these parts on standby btw)

B) order up a chinesium tie rod kit and just swap them all over

This isn't my first 3s Arrma, and I know they all fit a little loosely on the joints, but this particular model is in need of some new parts either way.

While we're on the subject, the rear shocks are empty. Should I fill them back up and send it, or once again, are there some chinesium shocks that are worth half a darn.

Thanks in advance

Personal choice. How deep are your pockets? Personally I would do A) since you have the parts esp for off road bashing. I'm happy with the 3s shocks especially since I filled with 40 wt and properly blead them. Some put 6s shocks on from the Mojave or Kraton and claim it makes a world of difference. Good luck!

If you have the aluminum balls for the pivots, might as well try it. I switched to traxxas links and then to redcat links. Both have been a seriously upgrade over the stock plastic arrma balls and pivots.

These rod ends needs replacing after some time.. i would use metal pivot balls (like tekno makes) instead of aluminium. it will last longer.

if this car is the old one with rubber o-rings in the shocks, then buy a new set of o-rings (they moved to silicon) and just replace them.. the shocks doesn't leak if built correctly and are quite decent

Ive just picked up a set of traxxas slash links to run on my typhon armed senton. haven't installed yet, but definitely will be an improvement!
