Arrma RC's
I just ordered a Krayton and have a question. I know it comes with XT90 connectors but I am having trouble finding a reasonably priced parallel charging board for XT90's that can get here anytime soon. I have an XT60 parallel charging board should I just swap the Krayton to use XT60's? Any downside to doing that? I will be charging with a new UP120AC Duo. Maybe I am just thinking wrong in general and I can only charge 2 batteries at a time with these higher capacity chargers for cars (I am coming from the mini quad world). I was thinking it would be nice to charge 4 - 3s batteries at once so that you would have 2 runs ready to go. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Just solder a pair of adapters from XT60 -> XT90 and use you´re old board.
To swap on XT60 isn´t a good idea because of the power of the car.
For the Nero I found a other solution and ->DIY:
2x2S and 2x3S in serial charging incl. balancing.

Thanks for the reply. Am I wrong to think with parallel charging I can charge 4 packs safely with this charger. 2 off each side? I guess that would mean buying a second parallel charging board also. Confused...

You should be able to charge two batteries off of each channel without a problem with that charger. With parallel charging you should be able to do as many batteries as you want on each channel. It will just take longer to fully charge them once you hit the wattage/amperage max.
I charge six batteries per channel on my Hitec X2 700, so 12 batteries at a time but that charger will also do 30 amps per channel.
But yes you would need a second parallel charging board unless you can fit all of the wiring for both channels onto one board.

Thanks. I have ordered an extra parallel board and XT90 plugs to make an adapter. I appreciate the help.
