Man these bulletproof chassis are thick! Always wanted to do a build with one I Figured 2 of my kraton XL’s are due for full service so I’m going to strip them down and use them to build one on this chassis. Already have a new set of bulkheads and diffs ready. Going to run max6/1650kv from one of the other XL’s.

Love mine on my talion XL. But I added Longer screws, better springs, thicker shock oil and M2C valve set. Its a different beast now with all the M2C goodies and the chassis it needed more shock.

I’m going Fireteam shocks I figured it’s going to be close to Fireteam weight with this chassis. Longer screws for sure.

had a little time tonight but the bulkheads and diffs in had a set of scorched titanium towers figured I’d try them out. Fireteam motor mount.

Are you going to run a tower to tower brace one yours? I know JBI says you don't need one with theirs but this does not have the lips on the sides so I'm still using one. Don't really think I need it was wondering your thoughts.

Had a little time this weekend (we’ve been 1/24 crawling lately) to work on the build. Got motor/ESC installed, center diff in and mess set. Not sure on the servo yet was thinking something different this time then a Reef Raw 500. But

How did everything boly up the Bulletproof chassis? I've been debating getting one. Everyone seems to be hard on the M2C stuff but that Bulletproof one just seems so solid and raw.

Honestly, I haven't done much since I got to this point but so far everything has bolted up just fine. I've used longer screws on most everything. I plan on finishing it up this summer when its SATAN hot outside here. Also she's going to be Heavy but my fireteams heavy and I love the way it handles so I'm hoping it drives like the fireteam.

I've been thinking hard about picking it up for the Talion. I kinda like the idea of just a little more weight and length. I don't jump it much so I'm not too worried about air control.
Thanks for the info. There's not a ton of reviews on that chassis. Glad everything bolted up good.

I know reviews are tough to find. I've wanted to try a Bulletproof chassis for a couple years, when I saw them on sale I figured it was my chance so far I'm happy with the build.
