Arrma RC's
  1. Kraton 4s
Hey All,

Super impressed withe the community and info on this forum. I bet someone has the answered this before but my searches turned up nothing. I have a Kraton 4s and my winter project is building it a 6s big brother so i can hand the 4s down to the kids. After looking at all the drawings for the 6s i see no slipper clutch setup. Am i missing something? Why would the 6s setup not need a slipper clutch?

Thanks,

Lonnie

Because it has a center diff.

A center diff ensures power is distributed to all 4 wheels (unless it's "locked" with high diff fluid), so the front/rear parts only get 1/2 of the power each at max. On systems that do not have a center diff each side can get 100% of the power, so a slipper is needed to eliminate that.

Awesome, thanks for the quick answer, i knew someone would know right away. Thanks for the welcome and I will definitely be reading through this forum daily as I build my 6s.
