NIMH Full Charge - How long will it last?

Am I ok charging my kid's batteries today so they are fully charged for Christmas? How quick do they generally drain if they are not used? Thanks guys!

Should be fine for a week, but we're only taking 5-7 minutes of runtime. Even a $20 Amazon lipo will give you 10x more.

Yep he’s right I’m running the nimh that comes with the senton 2,400 mah and it last about 10 minutes if running hard, but should be fine to keep it charged

Thanks guys. I also bought a 3300 mAh battery as a back up. I was hesitant to go lipo because they're still young (6 and 9).

Yeah those battery are more than enough for them with that battery it should last long enough I recommend a Tamia 4,200 mah nimh battery on amazon they’re $30 or so but you will need and adapter depending on the connector
