Granite No braking or reverse

My son's Granite has lost braking and reverse. Whenever he pulls on the throttle it will just go forward, even when trying to reverse. Is there anything I can do or do I just get to buy a new ESC? Thanks

Check your throttle trim on the Transmitter. It should be dead center (neutral).

Had a similar issue today. My son ran our Granite into a bush today and we lost all throttle. No forward or reverse. Turning the car off and on again fixed it. Is this common or could it be a sign of a problem with the ESC?
