Getting back into RC with my kids... after much review, the Arrma Granite Voltage seemed to be a great first step. We just got two of these, and the new ones come with the 6 cell NIMH 1800mah batteries (instead of just the two cells and grow from there).
They work well for about 15+ minutes (full charge), then the throttle goes out on them and the ESC blinks green. Seems to do it faster if we run over any grass. Is this the sign that the battery needs charged, or is there a defect? We tried to factory reset the ESC, either that or just turning the ESC off and on gets it back to working for a couple minutes, only to arrive in the same state... .no throttle, but the steering works.
Any advice is appreciated! Thank you
