Made a change to the rear diffuser. Recessed the mufflers into the cover. Then made it so the mufflers screw to the cover not glue. Made the holes in the mufflers 3.2mm so the M3 will slide through muffler and then 2.8mm so it'll thread right into the diffuser cover plastic behind it.

I got the cover printing remotely, but will have to change filament on one of the printers to silver silk so I can do new mufflers tonight.

It would be cool to have a channel through the 3d print for the wing and post to hide the wire for the servo.

A lot of time spend in CAD working on this. Great project!
Thats why I post these. Great idea man!!

Maybe I could make the posts that raise the wing off substantially bigger, and make a slot for it to go down. Thx man I'll update this thread with the re-design.

Maybe some inspiration. The opening does not have to be very large

Yeah, it doesn't need to be a big hole at all. I've routed them through jets and heli's galore.

The funny thing and the reason I thanked you so much. No one had said it and I literally hadn't even thought of it. I thought it was fine as is. But as soon as you did it's like duhh dude that looks like poop and can be fixed easy to look proper. Sometimes the most obvious things just literally get overlooked. Typical engineer here hahahahaha

Yeah absolutely. That is a great reason to share ideas on the forum to help get ideas for further revisions to an already good idea.

Well, it was a little rough, pretty big redesign. But I'm happy with it for sure. Also went the extra mile and it all screws together now. No glue at all. Even the Servo mounts without glue and gets held in by a screw in the servo cover.

Reprint soon, now I will countersink all the screws, so they are flush!

Newest version rear diffuser cover turned out nice as well. I really like that the mufflers are recessed into it now. And that they screw in not glue in.

Again didnt have time before work to mount the new Aero wing. Also only tossed one screw in each muffler and honestly thats all it takes so I will probably get rid of the other hole.

Reprinted the new piece for the inside of the body. No nuts or washers needed. Threads right into the plastic.
