Fireteam Not sure about the robustness of it but didn't want the toy soldiers.

Here's my mods on the Fireteam. Waiting for Basherqueen carbon fiber rod and carbon fiber mudguards. Added the EXB front and back braces. Switched to Max8 and 1210 Servo. Finally changed the receiver to pair with my Noble 4 remote. The panels consists of Lexan, carbon fiber and nylon (for side mesh).

Looks badass!

I’m not that ambitious but I wish I was! Fantastic job! It’s my second rig to bash while I’m constantly upgrading my Talion. Im still a noob but I’m learning.

Dude, that’s fantastic. I never thought I’d ever say this, but you’re making me want a fireteam! Welcome to the forum, man.

The price is insane and this thing rips.

I like the guys. Keeping mine too. I got new tires and it’s completely different. They aren’t belted so I have more control.

Bud, how you like them tires?? How are they in grass and dirt?
I love them! On grass you can wheelie the crap out of it. All around superb grip! Puts the stock tires to shame. The grip is great and they are non belted and they are great on snow, dirt and grass. Used this snow bank as a half pipe! It looks great and it’s way more fun. It’s challenging and I enjoy learning more control. I’m using the non belted tires as practice for my control. I’m finally getting the control down in the air. Thanks to the forum! I can back flip my Talion. But in the snow? The fireteam is the bomb with just a set of tires.

Those tires look awesome, aggressive AF! What size are they?

Wow, the truck and tires look great! Can I ask what you mean by having more control due to not being belted? Do you mean forward/back flip control in the air? Presumably because non-belted balloon more, and therefore can exert more inertia control in the air?

I've been reading about adding external belts to my 1/8 MT tires (different truck), to help control ballooning. But it's interesting if there are downsides to that as well.

These look like a nice aggressive tread, and at $44 currently on Amazon, are priced a bit better than some other options, at least. Assuming I'm looking at the right ones. Thanks for the heads up.

What kind of light bar is that? I saw those side mesh looking things on the web somewhere. How’s the quality? They look good!

What kind of run times are you getting in the snow?
I have 2 new Fireteams and both are going into LVC within 3 minutes at -5C with 2 x 3S 7000mah batteries. I pulled the handbrakes out thinking they were clogged with snow and ice, but have not been back out to test.

I forgot to answer! Yes…. Air control and grip. Those are the same ones. I found it went thru some deep snow at full speed better because of ballooning. With the aggressive tread!

I’ve surprisingly got a good 40 minutes at least but it wasn’t super cold. I ran the 5000 mah 100C 6S Spectrum battery but I also got about 45-50 off a 6800 mah 120C 6S Zee battery. But the snow was gone so now I’m mudding! That’s Michigan. Don’t like the weather? Just wait a second. It went from -14 wind chills to 65 the next weekend. Lol
