Kraton Not to sure what to do

Hey guys and girls,

so I got a question, I successfully removed the epoxy out of one of my diffs, though the other diff is a little worse for wear. I’m wondering will it damage my kraton 6S if I make is just rwd?

Short answer yes.

You will put too much stress on the rear dogbone(s) and diff. Also melt your center diff and the thing will be pretty much uncontrollable with it's 50/50 balance. Don't do it.

But it doesn't come with epoxy. Making it rear wheel drive will just put extra stain on the rear diff and make it squirrelly and undrivable. Just get a replacement from Jenny's.

I think if you WERE going to make it 2WD, you should use a center spool. Not saying this is a good idea, but that’s the way you can avoid cooking the center diff.
