I know I'm in the minority on this but I went V6 thinking it would help with my messed up hands due to the clipless design. But I really don't like it. It actually hurts more than the little clips. Add the bend and use pliers on the typhon seems easier than it was originally.

I will say I've spent some time on the roof and its strong. But it severs my ability getting to the battery or esc in case of magic smoke meltdown. I have not found a good way to mod it yet either with making a weak erector set body mount mess. It's looking like adding an aftermarket body will require some precision alignment too. Any ideas

May I ask..
How is the clipless design hurting your hands (more?)

Do you just need a soft(er) pad over the clipless button?
or is there something with the (high) tension of the release??

I've had multiple surgeries on these hands. Carpel tunnel to arthritis. Its the (tension) of pushing down to make it lock or unlock. Where a clip was a simple push or pull with limited resistance.

I think I understand..

So you need a bit of extra leverage -on the clipless mechanism (button) to lock and unlock...

But to still keep the same retaining-tension on the stock posts..

Now I'm not sure what your saying. I know I have pain pushing on that button or the plastic around the button to lock it down or unlock it.
Where as bent clips were a simple lateral push or pull with little force using more wrist/arm than finger.

Can you use a fist grip like an ice pick with a rigid object that can be pocketed?

Okay forget what I mentioned above..

It sounds like all you need is a handheld thumb depressor of some sort..

So is there no place on the V6 to mount old body mounts and use the old body?

If that's the case.. then all one has to do is swap out the v6 shock towers to the old v5 towers to add the original body posts back...

Pony express is better for the environment than ICE/EV mail carriers, let’s revert back. 😊

I only have one complaint when it comes to clip-less bodies, a lack of options. A Notorious isn't a bad looking body. I would prefer to run it by choice not because it's the only body that fits my truck.
