Notorious Notorious v5 Body broke on the first 4ft jump

Brand new Notorious V5 first jump, landed on the front. I figured the body would be stronger. I guess I'll reenforce the next body.

I've beat the hell out of my v5 notorious and had a couple stupid high jump/crashes and havnt managed a single crack.

Definitely not normal.

It was in the 40's, My son in-law had his Notorious out too and was fine. I hit moss covered ground..really odd.

Very odd as I've sent mine 35' in the air many times and never cracked the body. It has to have been the cold air. Sorry man. It's def not the norm so don't take it out on Biggie.

That's unfortunate.
I cracked a several months old Kraton 4s body this spring. It was reinforced with gorilla tape. Did not help.

Highly recommend the common solution: drywall tape and e6000 (or similar glue). I did this after cracking the body and so far it holds up really well!
Additionally, I applied a rubber edge protection for extra protection (front was not yet done when taking the picture).

Sheet metal, rivets, and you officially have a basher body. Then get a new one for when it’s on the shelf.

I would contact about warranty, that mold must’ve had a void or the wrong chemistry to be brittle. I don’t waste time with glue/tape and bash below zero temperatures.

Sounds to me sheet metal and rivets has some heft to em. I thought you hated shelf queens bodies. Or just mine. .

There’s a big difference between a basher/racer having a clean body for display and a dedicated shelf queen that just gets set places for photos and never actual driven to demonstrate its full capability.

I've only ever seen a body do that once.

Brand new body first time out I landed on the body one time wasn't even cold outside.

This is the stock body that is 6 years old.

I have a feeling that it was just a bad mold as it was extremely brittle and just crumbled away when you would try to bend it.
