I got 49 MPH, on my Lim. Speed runs stress me out. šŸ¤£ . Kinda ran out of road as well. šŸ .

It's was a 2mm , it's was a 148mph crash, blew a tire then it's hit the side of the road and flip out on the road again
Did never find the front splitter šŸ˜†

That is 1 helluva good looking build šŸ˜Ž

You got anymore pics of that Noto body you did up? Looks cool as Frick from what I can see.

Pretty sure this should be it's own thread a t this point.

Sheet metal, rivets, and you officially have a basher body. Then get a new one for when itā€™s on the shelf. šŸ‘šŸ¼

I would contact about warranty, that mold mustā€™ve had a void or the wrong chemistry to be brittle. I donā€™t waste time with glue/tape and bash below zero temperatures.

I've done something similar, with 1mm lexan. Just captured it, under the body posts. Truck is still on it's 1st body, with some duct tape at the rear.

How is the new dual mounting rear wing brace holding up for you?
You must be referring to my zip tie repair. Two of 3 of those small zip ties broke the 1st crash (post #22), but the mount is still in use. I plan to sell the truck, as soon as I make time to clean it up.

Brand new Notorious V5 first jump, landed on the front. I figured the body would be stronger. I guess I'll reenforce the next body.View attachment 407898
I wouldn't consider 40's to be cold, but the bodies are much more brittle in colder temps for sure. I feel the PC is more susceptible than the other plastics on these rc's. I am amazed at how well the E6000/fiberglass mesh tape hold up. That E6000 some good stuff! Guess you have a "beater" body now.. šŸ¤

I have slapped a Proline Jeep body on a Tekno MT410 2.0, and was rather stunned to see how fast it started cracking.
Any idea what brands of bodies I should be considering, since Proline's are too weak?

That is ... spectacular.
Thanks, yeah I really liked those two

Arrma bodies works best for me, when it's not to cold , sometimes I use shoe goo Inside

Proline made good bodies back when the top speed was 30 and the vehicles weighed sub 4lbs.
They are still great for 1/10 touring bodies.
Not so great for our 10lbs+ 60+ mph bashers

Jconcepts maybe.

[...] Not so great for our 10lbs+ 60+ mph bashers

Got it.
That being said, the MT 410 2.0 is clearly below 10 lbs (electronics & battery included - probably in the ballpark of 4.0-4.5kg), and I have been driving it very reasonably (esp. compared to how I handle my 6s ARRMA's)

Still, managed to crack the body in a few places -- after only a couples bashes.

Jconcepts maybe.

Got it. Thank you!
