Thanks man, the bumpers are Phase 1 rc. Stout as hell. Can't believe how much I've beat on this noto, way more than any of my other rigs. All I ever break is fans.

Imo far better than exb bumpers. A lot more coverage. Just have to use the non exb hinge pin block. The wing mount is double skinned and an absolute pita to fit but durable as hell. One side of mine snapped a year or so ago and it's still holding now on one side. I'll get another once it finally let's go. (No, I'm not sponsored by Phase 1 ).

There is indeed a school of thought where less is more, especially with the A-arms. And you went with the RPM’s. I’m not a fan of those (I would have kept the stock arms and replaced as necessary) but if you’ve been bashing the snot out of it since 2020 and haven’t broken anything but fans, I’d say it was working just fine for you! Pretty rig, man.

Couldn't agree more, it was a v4 and if I'm honest I've had v5 arms in a bag for a long time ready to go on. The rpms just haven't broke. I have an old kraton that's bone stock and it breaks no more or less than the "one piece billet" rigs. We all fall down the upgrade hole, to each their own.

I remember seeing an all aluminum nitro rustler back around 2001 2002. I thought that was absolutely the coolest and highest end truck I'd seen then.

Around 2005 I had a titanium chassis t-maxx that was 100% polished aluminum. It is a dream of mine to build another just for nostalgia reasons. Shelfer.
