Novak pinion gears

Hey guys, quick question. I tried searching but there’s a ton of threads with the words “pinion gear” and didn’t see any with Novak in them. So are Novak pinions any good? Looking at picking up a couple different pinions and I really don’t want to spend $20+ bucks on each pinion to experiment with on my Mojave.

How are you finding Novak gears? Novak went out of business years ago.

Ahh ok. They were very well known within the industry, and had a great reputation for making high quality parts.

Well I guess I’ll order a couple of them. I never heard of them before so I guess it was before I got into the hobby. Why’d they go out of business

The hobby industry turned down a few years ago, and Novak couldn't really compete with the Asian manufacturers. They were entirely designed and made in America.

Man that sucks. Not enough quality American made stuff. Well i ordered an 18,19 and 22.
