Out of range programming

Question: My cousin swapped out his Infraction motor for Castle setup. Is there a setting that he skipped to get the car to shut off when its out of range?

There is no ESC setting to adjust.
There is a failsafe setting on transmitter/receiver, nothing really to activate, it's automatic. Check your manual.
Only works if signal is lost, not if you have a brown-out.

It's based on transmitter and receiver. A video about the newer Radiolink mentioned it has a built-in capability to shut down power so the car cannot take off when range is lost.

Ill have him check. I haven't messed with any of my castle stuff yet but Ill have him check. He said it was working fine till it got out of range.
