Arrma RC's
  1. Granite
So, the ol'Granite body is getting tired. Worn through, cracked and wrinkled. I wanted a ProLine F100 style body, but the Outcast is a darn close copy. So, I popped on the body mounts, bumpers, and body, but opted to get a sticker sheet from ProLine with the F100 front end.

Tonight I finished up fitting the body and mounts. Going to do some final fit and finish and then prep it for some interior decals prior to paint.

Looks like a good fit, guess I'll find out what color you went with when it's done.

Well... couldn't even begin to copy the granite graphics... not to do it justice anyway. Instead, simple pro-touring look. Retro-racey.

Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm super proud for my first body!

Thanks for the love guys!

Highlights - the grille, door handles, tail lights and a few other stickers are under the lexan under the paint held on with Testors clear cement and glass maker.

The window masks are just the stock arrma window stickers placed inside. (Gotta love the retro look of clear windows!)

I finished the under-side with black, then after it dried went over the sides, roof, hood, body post holes and front with fiber-tape and black shoe goo.

What a great job on the paint work! I love that there are people that have the patience to do this kind of work. All the masking for multicolor designs is incredible. The lines on yours are so crisp, which makes it that much nicer to look at. ??

Orange and blue, terrific fit...
Thanks for sharing. Good job.
