Arrma RC's
  1. Outcast 6s
Here is my rig so far:
RPM A arms
T bone front bumper
Aluminum gpm wing mount
Tekno 17 tooth pinion
Tekno shock rod ends

she is super fast with the 17t pinion, haven’t done a speed run but will as soon as I get my speed meter

I like it.
Just concerned that the GPM Wing mount is too rigid and will cause more damage than its worth. Most use plastic. RPM or Stock. Cheap enough to replace. The wing and wing mount are just for protection of the towers and bulkhead. Plastic will flex to absorb impacts. The GPM might still bend and also transfer much more unwanted force to the chassis.

would you recommend the t bone rear bumper instead?

I broke 2 wing mounts in my first two runs with the truck so I got the aluminum, so I want something that is beefed up but do not want to damage the chassis or other parts on the truck.

I broke 2 stock mounts and one RPM. That was very early on. I drive differently now. And haven't broken either on both my Kraton and Noto.
The reality is that they break first before more expensive stuff does. I feel the Stock mounts are more brittle in colder climates. The RPM mounts can break also. But they usually just twist up. And I apply some heat and get them fairly straight again. The TBR wing mount has broken for many others. And it is much more money. TBR only warranties it one time in its lifetime warranty. I have the TBR rear wheeliebar bumber both on my Noto. and Kraton. I kept the stock wheelie bar on the Notorious in addition to the TBR one. Seems to work for me. I think it even protects the wing mount to some extent. Pardon the dirty Noto. Ny son had a blast with it in the mud.

I was sitting here scratching my head over what those yellow things were lol. Y U NO run front cvds in the rear? https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/bearings-mayhem.5415/#post-52665

I tried doing a speed run with my Outcast, I kept flipping on the lid :(

My Kraton is using the front CVD's. Yes supposedly they improve the inner bearing life(stock rear hubs).(y) I agree.
The Notorious still using the rear Dogs. The CVDs, I find bend much easier. They oscillate at the slightest bend and I get much more vibration at the rear than when using the dogs. I could be wrong. Just my thoughts so far.
In theory CVDs are superior to dogs across most RC platforms.
Like with my Tekno.:)

Update:
I have upgraded the radio and receiver to the spectrum dx5c radio and spectrum sr6100at receiver. The AVC is amazing and so glad I upgraded the receiver to get it. I was driving in icy grass and it kept the truck going straight no problem. I am also about ready to install a protek 370 bl servo and aluminum servo mount. A yeah racing motor fan to keep the temp down. I will get some pics up when I get it all installed.

Damn bro what you turning with that servo a tank ? That thing will have no problems turning the wheels, just make sure to set your end points as I am sure with that kind of force it will probably break/bend something.

$200 for a servo? Wow! :) A bit overkill and a dent to the wallet. Your wallet is better than mine. But in good taste nonetheless.
Again, just watch that Alloy wing mount. Looks trick. But it may cause more damage than it saves.
I would focus on an M2C chassis alloy front/ rear braces and towers. Your wallet looks fat enough.(y)
Use some Carbon Fiber Tubing (12mmx10mm) sleeved over the T2T brace. The OE T2T by itself will bend.
The M2C chassis doesn't even require any T2T because of its stiffness.
Nice job so far. I like it. (y)

Thanks this is just what I was looking for for my Outcast.

I am not sure, but I think that CF T2T mod was originally conceived for the Kraton 8S. (larger diameter) I just don't remember who it was. But Kudos to him.
And the 12mmx10mmx500mm is perfect fit on all the 6S T2T's. Modded my Kraton and Noto. I have yet to do my Limitless. Not that the Lim. needs it. But The CF tubes come in pairs, Matte or shiny . FWIW.
After you cut the Tubing perfectly end to end. Sand both ends smooth and put thin CA all around the edges and let dry well before installing. I use some CA accelerator to speed it up. CF will wear and split on its edges from impacts. IMO. All CF parts are treated this way.
Re-sand if needed to get the tube to slide onto the OE brace. Since it is not fixed but captured by the plastic ends, the CF mostly prevents bending/flexing. My OE T2T un-sleeved on my Kraton always bowed downward to the center diff. Not so much on the Noto.

My $33.00 25kg Fan Model AMZ servo outlived my cracked servo saver today. Cartwheeled it twice for more than 20 feet.
Any servo feels better than that stock 1/10 scale 15KG servo.(y)

I cracked my servo saver a while back as well. I didn't even know that could break like that lol. And yeah the stock 15kg servos are great in 1/10th scale 2wd rigs.

I may consider HR alloy one. Or another brand if available. But OE plastic may be the better choice with this part??? I've broken numerous other brand SS like this over the years. This is first Arrma SS I broke however. I have plastic spares anyway. I always like my SS tight. I like it way better on all my other brand rigs. I'm sure this contributes to breakage in very cold temps. It def. saved my cheap $33. servo as tight as I had it.

Mine lasted like 2 years so I figured I would try a stock one again.
