I started building my truck when I got it in august 2018 used and beat to he!!

after this got all cleaned up I have broken fixed upgraded etc with rpm, t-bone Racing, hot Racing, atomik rc, wfo Racing, hobbywing, hobby-star, savox, unbreakable Russian body etc etc etc
I will keep this thread updated as i get more parts.

I'm building one too right now.
Bought a new roller with a motor from a chop shop so i can throw all the right stuff on it (unbreakable ProLine body, Lousie RC belted tires, Max6, JX servo, GDS spur).
Coming from a Baja flux this thing is quite easy to work on.

I see you got some extra screws with washers under the battery trays. Did you modify the battery tray?

so because the corona virus in China I’ve been waiting for also a month to get atomik rc diff cases
They should be here sometime soon but until then my truck will be in pieces
You’re also facing the Spring Festival. They take a few weeks off this time of year.
 
I got the second one last night!
I was wondering if you guys thought about putting oil instead of grease in the diffs. That’s how real vehicles are if I put normal 60k in the case and then used thinner shock oil instead of reds grease on the ring gear do you think this would work?
It’s allowing the ring gear to constantly be lubed?

You would need a fully closed gearbox for that where oil stays in and dirt stays out. Never seen that on an rc.
