Senton Perfect afternoon with Senton 3s BLX

First video is with the Duratrax Six Pack, and the second is with the Pro Line Trenchers; both pretty aggressive tread patterns. With the suspension adjusted and the body lowered, you can plow into corners and not flip as easy.
This next video is after I changed to the Pro Line flo-tek body and running a new Hobby wing motor. I set that corner up intentionally in a bad, off-camber turn area. It really causes all kinds of problems at speed, but you for sure know if you have something wrong in the suspension. It will flip the truck over in a second. Those larger rocks stuck in the dirt, about the size of walnuts, are the worst..!

I'm trying to kill off a set of the Pro Line BFG tires and they are surprisingly tough.

Second video is better. You can see the big hit at the beginning and the Senton still holds it line. That said, my Nomad DB-8 blows through this like it's paved. Got a new Go Pro Hero 8 this week, so the videos will get better. This one is with my phone.

Yeah, work on the suspension. The Senton can work pretty darn well with some suspension changes. you can also lower to body.

I agree, I tuned the shocks after replacing them and the truck handles like a race car.

How did you Tune the suspension to enhance cornering and prevent roll over?

What size tires are you all using?

New to my Senton and its fun but annoying that you have to throttle back to turn all the time

  • Lower the ride height
  • Replaced stock shocks with:
    • Racers Edge RCE1850BL Aluminum Shock
    • Use 40 weight oil
    • dial in the amount of oil for precise stiffness
  • Run only SC tires 2.2" / 3.0" (no bigger than 4.4" diameter)

So I'm in the UK. So where is the best place to get shocks from over here

I'm running the Pro Line Flo-Tek body on my Senton. It's the bash armor version. It's sorta heavy, but very strong. I have heard some people say they crack it when jumping, but I have not had any issues with mine - but I don't launch my Senton off of big jumps.

Something else, you can see in this photo the GPM shock towers. These help a lot for keeping the suspension soft and smooth. Great for rough surfaces.

Yo.. Are the Racers Edge shocks a direct fit.. New senton owner having a hard time finding some.. I almost bought typhon v2 or 3 until I read u have to rig them.. Too much play! Also where can I get those gpm shock towers!! I need some 12mm wheel adapters too. I like those red wheel bolts.. Another guy said u can swap the a arms and turnbuckles and driveshafts for the typhon 3s too give the senton a wider stance.. Im new too the hobby so trying to just learn and do some easy direct fitment swaps and learn as i go for the harder stuff.. Need that 26t pinion too.. Lol so much to do and nowhere to start ha.. Guess I'll start with that raiden racing dust cover.. Gotta start somewhere!! Thanks guys
