I feel these are the only two worth showing, because they are the oldest, and they are the cars I had as a kid. Both are permanent residents I wont be getting rid of.

I'll start with the obvious 2wd Stampede in the back. Judging by the dates in the manual, I got it around 1998 or 1999. Its had tons of different power setups, and for fun I recently added a 3s brushless system to it (you want to talk looooong wheelies, this truck is it). It still has an RPM ESC plate (mechanical speed controller is long gone) that I laugh at thinking of how far technology and these cars have come. I did bring it out and launch it into the air off a jump with my Kratons, it ended poorly. It now sits on a shelf without a power system.

The RS4 MT was my first. Assembled from a kit in '97, I ran this thing everywhere. Jumped it off ramps, raced friends on any surface, it was awesome. This is its 2nd or 3rd body over its lifetime. It still wears Proline Dirt Works tires, has a Novak Super Rooster ESC, and its Trinity modified motor is missing somewhere. It was pretty quick for its time and it has a ton of hours of use on it. I don't run it anymore just due to parts availability, and belts....omg the belts.

Every once in a while I see on eBay a complete spare chassis pop up for a reasonable price, but I refuse to pull the trigger. I'd hate to trash a body that I painted as a kid, and once I start replacing parts of it, it really is no longer that truck I assembled as a kit with my dad 22 years ago.

I had the NMT for a while. Was very fragile. Broke a lot of arms and spur gears. I gave up on it pretty quick, but I did like it. If only they had something as durable as the MT2 with a slipper/2-speed trans, I'd be all over that!

I don't have any "show pieces", all mine are built to bash.

Probably nim packs. How old is this rig? Nicads disappeared almost everywhere some years back. They are sub-C, size 1.2v ea. cells. That config is odd, probably specific to that rigs batt compartment dimensions.
