Has anyone changed the pinion to 18t and 8.4 battery on the mega? Will it overheat the esc?

I would say that you'd be more likely to overheat the motor than you would the esc.

We ran it . Gained some speed for sure . No Faults or break downs .motor esc and battery got hot . Let it cool between batteries. Time will tell if it's too much
