  1. Limitless
I just got a hold of a Pinocchio spool for my Limitless. What I would like to know is what is the length of the shaft I need since one end f the spool is longer than a standard spool. I already replaced the shafts and deck supports. Thanks a bunch guys, you save me so much time. -Dave

It depends on the spool. Just like center dogbones, Pinocchio spools are different lengths. Which model spool did you get?

I found them on eBay. They claim to be the originals.

Usually it will be two front length shafts you'd run with it. But as said above some can be longer or different size so you never know. You can try and see if the front shaft fits in the rear with the spool in place to find out.

Thanks, Edough. I thought that would be the answer. Funny though, the spool looks like only one side is longer. And I guess I can shelf one of the shafts. It was the first hop-up I did.

You're the best....maybe second to LibertyMKiii! Just kidding. I have been on hundreds of forums since the dawn of the Internet but this one is my favorite. Some other forums, like guitars, have been so competitive, and sometimes no one gives away secrets. That's another story. People do make money fixing amps, as do I, but helping people with their knowledge is the greatest gift of all time. I used to teach computer technology for 3 years and I would learn a lot from the students. I miss teaching but unfortunately, the paycheck is small so I had to enter the field. But I have been involved in electronics for years. Hopefully, I could pass on some knowledge that I have learned in the 30 years that I have been running R/Cs.

Thanks again. Dave

This is how forums should be. I didn't join the internet to make a living. I did it for porn, information, and to better understand some of the activities I engage in. I've learned a lot, and hope I've helped at least one person. Numerous people have helped me over the years. Michael Laws (Teaching Tech Youtube) stayed up with me talking about some firmware issues I was having with a motherboard until 5am eastern time!!! I was reallllllllllll close to tossing it out the window. I read tutorials, forum posts, etc.....but nothing clicked. He helped me tremendously.

I honestly would have probably abandoned that project if not for him. I wouldn't be where I am now with 3D printers....... probably have more money...but I can't put that on him. 😆

Helping others makes the hobby grow and keeps people involved. Whatever that hobby is.

Thank you Dave. And to everyone else that helps and not hinders the rc world.
