Kraton Planning on getting Trenchers 40 series - do I need to gear down to 11T Pinion?

I am planning on buying new, bigger, heavier tires for my kraton - will I need to gear down to an 11T pinion? I already have a Hobbywing motor heatsink and fan

You should be ok on stock gears as it is under geared out of the factory. I heavily recommend buying a temp gun. They’re like $15.

hmm, $15 isn't nothing.. I'm going to look for one

I would agree that your gearing will be ok, just monitor temp and decide then.
