Hey guys. I have broken my truck for the first time. I'm not exactly sure what the part I broke is called, so I'm gonna need some help figuring it out. My truck is also making a weird creaking noise when I press down on the rear. I'll show some pictures.

Well, nothing is broken, the screw got out of one of the rod-ends.

my guess is that it was not threaded equally between the two parts, so the top part have little grab on the screw and it popped out.
Take those 2 rod-ends out of the car, un-thread the set screw a little from the bottom half, and then thread the top half back and put it back in.

Thats your sway bar linkage. If the threads are stripped, you'll need a new one. And like #rcproponent said, thst creaking is her way of asking for a bath and a nice lube job ? any part that moves, hit it with some wd40 specialist. Its a dry lube that will get everything moving freely without attracting dirt and grime. ??

The part you "broke" is a sway bar link, it connects the sway bar to the a arm You can also toss some epoxy in the threads before you screw it back togethor that piece doesn't need to adjust or be able to unthread, just make sure the top eye is facing the right way(towards the ball on the sway bar end) while the glue sets. I did it on mine and it helps them from popping off like that. What you can do if your nervous about it facing the wrong way is glue it and snap it bak on the ball and let it set, epoxy gives you 5 mins work time. The top eyelet can be removed from the ball with a pair of pliers or carfully with a flat head it's like a ball joint. Or just unscrew the screw holding in the bottom eyelet to the a arm, and screw the bottom eyelet back onto the top eyelet after doing the above mentioned advice of un threading the rod a bit so you have equal threads for the top and bottom eyelets to screw on to.
