I usually drive my RC at a nearby grass field that I walk to with my 4 year old. With that in mind, I set out to build a lightweight and convenient to carry ramp.

This one is made out of 2x1 pine and corrugated plastic sheeting. It's 40" long. 30" wide, and folds in half for briefcase style carrying. The legs all fold up within itself kind of like a folding table. The top is coated in truck bed liner for grip.

It worked pretty well once I finished it yesterday. It's only a 30 degree angle, so I couldn't get any backflips off my 2s battery. I might increase the leg length to up the angle a bit.

Great idea! Also, good that you’re indoctrinating RC into your kid at such a young age. 👍 And yo…

Very nice. How thick is the plastic sheeting, and where did you get it?
It's only like 3/16" thick from Michael's craft store for $7 total. Probably would want to double up for 1/8 scale but more than strong enough for 1/10 scale launching so far.

I love it. Would be great even just for storage sake at home. I think I might seriously want to recreate what you’ve done.
Let me know if you need the plans or parts list. 👍

Well that would speed up the project incredibly 🤩
