Today I bought and set up an arma limitless. I have been wanting to try one for the speed runs and see how they are. Here are a couple of pics.

Looks good!
Thank you! They still look great stock too! It was more or less killing time with this BS going on. Also thought, for speed runs it might be a lil easier to see from a far. Of course I didn't think of that until after I painted them. ?

I here that,I'm still working but I love to build these cars to enjoy my off time. I need to get the chassis brace that fits the esc in the middle and I might get the carbon fiber wing for mine

Those chassis brace ESC mounts are awesome. I do plan on getting those as well. Seems to be about $35 plus shipping is the cheapest I can find! Carbon spoilers are nice, look into seeing if it may be cheaper to fabricate one yourself!? Then you can really go wild with the design of it! ?

My new build.
What else do you plan to do with it, if anything else!? Speed Rig or basher rig? Changing out the power plant or anything?

As I reply to this,I am putting all my heavy duty parts from my typhon speed car into my limitless. I have already put in the hot racing rear hubs, front steering blocks, chassis braces and working on putting in my hot racing diffs now, fronts done and starting on the back now. First pass Sunday morning I got 116mph with a Maxx 5,waiting for castle to fix 2 of my xlx,s ,them i will be in the 130,s.

Well then!! Ok! ?

Was the Max5 cutting out on ya at all? Mine was cutting out hard on my set up, so I was lucky enough to obtain the new MMX8S ESC. Sadly, I've yet to be able to run the new ESC yet...

Yes,i disabled the cutoff, but it still cuts off, at least i can get a decent run,not as good as an xlx of course

What body is that? They all look great and like was said the color is beautiful. Nice work.
Thanks, the body (and wing) is the new Toyota GT-one from Deltaplastik, and the color is Rust oleum gloss apple red. I like this color so much I decided to do both Limitless in it
Very nice! Got ahold of one of those Deltaplastik bodies? That Toyota one?
Yes the Toyota.. It’s a great body, really low but still fits an XLX on a chassis brace mount without touching, and has plenty of room for batteries. I like this more than the 1/7 Jaguar body they did
Just curious, how fast?
I’m “road limited” where I am, the best road that I have available to run on is 3/10 of a mile. I’ve got both of them up to between 110 and 114mph but stopping in that short distance is hard on the car, so I only tested there a few times.. both of these should do 130 to 140mph if run on a suitable road

Open wheel car has a Killmode TP 4070 2700 KV on 6s, the Toyota GT has a TP 4050 1700kv on 8s, both are running XLX’s on the center chassis brace
In the picture above you can see a mod I did, I cut out the wall between the receiver box and ESC tray, smoothed it out with a dremel and put down strong hook and loop tape.. Now It’s a perfect place to mount a battery for my NTF fans, or a GPS. I didn’t need to have the receiver there, as I moved it to the very back of the car under the wing support so I could get the antennas as high up as possible. I did this mod on both cars, and I recommend it. You will need a servo extension cable to reach the receiver though
