Venom got a facelift.

Swapped the Kraton shock towers for Senton's. Removed the Mojave A Arms and used Typhon Arms. Installed front and rear 8mm titanium axles. And used Just Bash it 10MM extended hex's on my Proline MX28's. Ditched the old Notorious body for a Proline Chevy.

Ya, the mounts are super nice!! Best option for a stretch Typhon! Which someone state side made a similar product.
Yeah, I wish I was as dialed-in in MD as I was in Texas, I'd have a machine shop make a bunch.

What kind of blue is that? Did you use a matte clear coat too?

Who makes these mounts?
After the prep work (remove decals, wash, scuff, wash again) I just sprayed the outside of my stocker body with 3 or 4 coats of white 1st, to cover the factory paint (didn't really feel like trying to strip the color from the inside!😆🤷‍♂️), then shot a whole can of dark metallic blue. No clear coat @ all, even though I bought some after the fact. Was too excited to run it so it's already a little scratched up. Oh well

Cool. Came out looking good. I’ve got two cans of PS-59 I’m about to use on a Tekno ET48.

Yeah, came out way better than I had anticipated. I'd never painted anything like this before so did a lot of looking into it on this forum for info & took my time, especially in between coats (not sure of your experience level?) It actually gave me enough confidence to try it again (outside) so I just bought another used body & ordered more paint!!😁

I’ve painted a few bodies. I find the prep work, especially the sanding and fitting to be quite relaxing. Here are my last two:
