Servo probs
So I recently sent back a crappy turnigy brushless servo that was just a joke and ordered a power hd wp23kg iv had awesome luck with them on other rigs.
This is on my v3 kraton. I’m running a spectrum dc5 with a srs6000.
After installing the power hd and getting the steering linkage hooked up it will steer back-and-forth a couple times perfectly but then it starts to glitch and shutter, then it cranks all the way to the left at full torque and stays turning. I then have to power the car off and pull the steering linkage off power the car back on then the servo will go past center like it’s recalibrating and then recenter out. Once I reinstall the steering linkage and power unit back on the same process happens.
I turned off the avc thinking maybe that had something to do with it but that didn’t help. Batteries are good and charged. Tried a 4s and a 6s for giggles too.
Only thing I can think is I got a faulty one. But I did order a glitch buster to try out and just got it today. Will install it after work.
This thing will be awesome once I get it workin.
