Bought this Power HD DW-25LV servo after reading someone was using them with success in their vehicles. Just can't remember where. I have savox servos in a few other vehicles but not really a fan of the extra noise they make or having to jam a glitch buster in the already tight receiver boxes. It looks well made and has good specs in my opinion especially for $65 shipped. Fits without modification with one thin shim under the tabs. Anyone else using these or have any recommendations to get max potential? I'm still learning about this aspect of the hobby. Thanks for any advice given.

I have the same one on my Talion. Rock solid so far. Weird they sell this "for crawlers" as it is definitely enough for real off-road cars (oh yeah I went there)

It is probably marketed for crawlers because it isn't that fast and can run on 6V so not BEC or high voltage ESC BEC necessary.

The Savox servos are expensive and if you don't use an external Bec or an ESC that puts out 7.4v, I think they are a waste of money. I'm on the stock BLX185 in my Talion and I just kept the stock servo in there. When it dies I'll throw another one in, lol. It's good to see this as an option though.

That's the feedback I was hoping for. Thank you! Got it installed in my v3 kraton but I'm going to get another servo horn and linkage to see if I can get a little less angle on the linkage. The arrma horn seems way oversized height wise compared to other brands. Going to put it through a construction site bash tonight to see how it does. Fingers crossed but after reading others are happy with it, I'm a little more optimistic than usual

Found a random aluminum servo horn in my mass of spare parts with the proper 25t spline. Not perfect but I'm much happier with the angle of the linkage with the lower profile horn. Only modification needed to fit this servo. Testing tomorrow since we had severe weather today. Boo!
