There are model specific body protectors, but I've always thought this was an obvious product that wasn't being provided in a way that could fit any body

Not a new concept. Some OE's use them.
PL just canned it for universal use.
And as always, PL overpriced stuff, IMHO. These can be fabricated for far less $$.

Yep I 3d print my own.. 95a tpu.. mold them how you wish, nice and flexible..?
