M2 compound

They look good but they smell like a troll did a poop inside them ( must have been inside shipping container to long :( )
Very very soft with M2 compound has me worried.
No bloody stickers :mad::mad::mad:

Hi all any suggestions here would be great . I am currently strapping the mx38s...
Have a look at how the centre strap is .. My question is about the gap left in places along the ring .. it worries me .. should i have taken more time and pushed the line down not allowing gaps ??
Will this risk damage to the tyre??

When strapping tires do you tie a knot or put superglue to hold together?

How did this hold up for you?
First go i found i had not used enough glue and it came undone in places .
I have since reglued them but i went bonkers with the glue .. not at drama at all now after 3 hard 6s bashes :)

I used good quality instant tyre glue from my LHS . A good quality super glue shoud do the trick also :)

I dismounted the MX38 and taped the insides. They balloon slightly now not like a pizza cutter before. The compound is very soft, but holds up. Tell ya what though landing jumps is like landing on a mattress. I feel they are too big and heavy though, feel like I'm beating the crap out of the drivetrain. So I rarely use them..

Have you weighed the Badlands MX38? Also do they make the car traction roll easier because of the large soft sidewall, extra grip, and slightly higher center of gravity?

No I haven't weighed them. The traction roll doesn't happen often, the tire is wide enough and there is a half inch offset to the wheels.

I just got a response from Pro-line support, they said a the mounted Badlands MX38 weigh 0.9 lbs each. I weighed my Backflips when they were brand new and it was 0.79 lbs each. An extra 0.11 lbs per tire doesn't seem very significant to me.
