Hi Arrmy,
I'm back into RC... Never had an off roader before and my shock towers have ruptured the rear of the factory shell after some failed jumps!!! #Arrmatough.
I tried to follow a YouTube guide on this paint job.

Oh sorry Arrmy. I put it on the facebook Arrmy page rather than here.

It seems to draw a LOT more attention than I anticipated.
I am pleased, although here are some tips/mistakes:
* do not rush the initial 3x translucent red coats and make 100% certain that it's dry before applying the silver
* When applying the silver, be very gentle. I was a little too forceful and I've disturbed the red paint on the doors, so a little silver has bled through (Not supposed to be any silver). Try to use a gentle dab & flick motion with a heavy spray of silver.
* If you want tinted windows, remove the window mask on your last spray of black.

I am too scared to run the lid on the truck~

Just a little part of the chin.... I could have raised the body posts instead, but I like this (stock) height.

This was going to be my next body job too "the plastic bag/marble look". Yours came out awesome. I can just imagine how it's going to feel on your first roll over with scratches haha.
