Finishing up a non-Arrma build (Kyosho Outlaw) and getting the 200mph tape put on. It's my preference vs drywall/shoe goo. It adds a good amount of durability and paint protection, is extremely conforming to body shapes, and a roll of it easily covers 5+ bodies.

I used gorilla tape and was pretty happy. The shoe-goo dry wall tape method is a pain to apply.
What tape are you using?

It's Gaffers tape. I love the stuff. We use it all of the time in racing. In Bonneville at the salt flats, racers use it to tape off parts of the front of the car for increased aero to try to achieve that extra 2mph to try to set records. It's the most reliable thing that holds up to the speed, conforms to shape, and isn't a pain to remove. It's the tape you use to get from 198mph to 200mph and join the 200mph club at Bonneville...hence, 200mph tape.
