QS8 connectors

Thinking about switching to QS8 8mm connectors for the higher throughput, anyone here have experience using them. Meaning are they a pain to solder.

Not hard to solder. I always use the other gender on the other side to keep them still. Always solder using the set as the plastic can melt when soldering and the cup can move. Don’t ask how I found that out

I just bought a few qs8 today, hopefully anti spark really means aint . Xt60 90s xt150 always spark. Spark so damn much the bullets got burnt marks. Hopes these help

I think they are pretty easy if you have a hot enough iron/gun. I use a weller 260w gun.

I have wrecked probably a dozen xt90 connectors that way

I haven’t had a single spark since switching from XT150 to QS8. They stay very snuggly connected too.

I don't notice my xt90s's sparking anymore. Before I got the S's they did.
