I spent over an hour and I gave up on trying to snap back in my motor in place and getting to click over that tab mount that has the word pull on it! Let me know your thoughts and concerns?

spur. on v2 they changed the spur gear so it moved the slipper backwards, more into the rear input gear, and it was in combination with the removal of the lock nut in the slipper (to make space for it)

Thanks guys for your help! Yes I am using the the Hot Racing 57 Spur gear in the picture below: Do I not need to use slipper locknut when installing the slipper clutch? Also, I bought brand new 10 x 15mm Rubber sealed ball bearings and new ARRMA Slipper Pads #ARA310908 for the assembly.

No, you can't use the slipper locknut unless you have the new shorter input gear.

Is your heatsink straight? I had this same problem, it was driving me crazy. In the end, the heatsink was slightly tilted and was catching on the chassis. Driftomaniacs actually mentions this in a video, but I didn't think about it at the time.

I like to use the rubber mallet when the gearbox gets obstinate, it doesn't get obstinate anymore ;)
I did this the other day. Had put the 'box back in before the loctite had set on the slipper and ended up loctiting the 'box output to the rear drive shaft and the shaft together. I hit with a rubber mallet and pulled the metal input shaft clean out of the rear diff input drive! D'oh... loctite really does take 24 hours to cure!

I'm not going to be install the heat sink part back on, since I am going to be using a Yeah Racing Booster fan that's 30mmx30mm!

That's the spur gear for a 2019 3s Typhon, I am going to assume that you need the rest of the 2019 slipper assembly as well.

First one is for the 2018 Typhon the second one is the newer style pads for the spur you have.
