Is it advisable to use Loctite on the screws that fix the drive shafts to the differentials? I found a couple were almost impossible to unscrew and I don't see any evidence Loctite was used in the factory. My guess is that they're not really subject to much torque in use given that the drive shafts are keyed.

Use a drop of Blue TL. Cant hurt. Your call. Some guys do, some don't. Being splined helps. TL is only used on metal to metal fastners/hardware FWIW.

I use some on the driveshafts (both the diff side and axle), it's not that hard to unscrew. the axle side were undone on me twice so that's why i switched to use loctite.

I always use blue loctite on all metal/metal parts. As long as its not the Red there is no reason not to. Better safe than sorry IMO..
