She was indeed a classy broad. Her passing is significant as she was an anchor through rough times. May she rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear that. I have family in the UK. I have had long discussions with my family about the royals trying to understand their loyalty to the Queen. I think I get it. It can be hard for us Americans to understand. She led through some interesting times. The world mourns with you.

I am not very invested in the UK, so I am not particularly sad about the queens passing.

I like to watch programs about WWII, and always find it interesting seeing the footage of her when she was younger during that time. From a distance (meaning I'm not in the UK), she seemed to always take her role in a hard working and serious way. Big respect. (although my wife kids (but with a tiny smidge of actual suspicion) that they had Lady Di taken out). Sorry, maybe this isn't the time for humor, but sometimes humor helps. Certainly not funny to William and Harry. It's also been pretty amazing watching them grow up in the public eye through their own tragedy. Losing your mom at a young age has to be the worst. Wish they were getting along better.

She made it to 96, that's not to shabby. Don't think she should be mourned, as much as celebrated. Like Betty White.
