Having an Arrma Vorteks [Granite's cousin] and Raider, I offered to provide some visual references to help him on his path.
After reading his comments on the Arrma Raider body $5.68 thread, I made and posted a video showing where the connections are. It was clear to me, but after reading his questions, realized it wasn't clear at all so here's a second attempt to clarify.
The Raider was torn apart to install a new ESC, so the timing was perfect to make the video.
Video was shot an an SJCAM SJ4000.
