Can't find my infrared thermometer. Brand new Raider mega, with 2s lipo, esc is in Lipo mode. After less than a minute of running and it is going into overheat protection. The manual says it does this when the ESC is over 80*C. The heatsink is cool to the touch. It is about 45*F outside. It had one run with the stock Nimh battery, then I desoldered the T connector and soldered on a Traxxas connector, since all of our batteries use them. This is just part way through the 1st lipo. Sound like a call to Arrma is in order? Kinda bummed, as this is a kid's birthday present... but I can't complain too loud as I got this new in box off the T.H. scratch and dent page for about $100...
