Hi all, just a hack to raise the Typhon body to fit whatever you want under there. Can we call this the 44Dan44 solution©? 😂 Then maybe Arrma will give me some kickbacks on the V6 Typhon. If it’s been done before I haven’t seen it or they didn't share it.

This works for the short wheel base (stock) as well as the stretched Typhon crew. Pictures are worth exceedingly more than words so I’ll shut up after sharing the various threads discussing this and let the photos start talking to you. Disregard my high tech rc stand.

This has been discussed before and a video provided by @Edough13 which gives you a little bit more clearance short-vid-describing-how-to-raise-body-for-dual-3s-packs.31808 by raising the rear mount one screw hole and drilling a new one.

Mine is still in my head, but yes the parts are almost gathered.👍

That's me too, I have 90% in, including a NIB Typhon for my next build, I needed this little clearance issue resolved to do what I plan to do.

The last bits are rolling in for me. Should all be here by the weekend. JRC loves me.
I have a SWB and LWB chassis plates, not sure where I'll end up but this is great help.

In the first post I listed threads of reasons why people want to raise the body a bit but I didn't list mine (at least one of my reasons) and it relates to a thread I posted last year. a-different-kind-of-body-mount-quick-release.46726 which I wanted to try on the Typhon. Well, I finally did it.

Great post thanks, I needed this.

Do you have a closer view of how you did this in the front? What does it look like on the bottom side of the top plate?
