RC Car Wiring PORN? is there a thread or specialist site ?

As Above really, I want to do a neat wiring Job and have seen some cool woven cable sleeving I'd have liked to have used, but there's time for that... I've picked up some cheap plastic weave cable sleeving so that will have to do for now, but happy to see/know any obvious tips and tricks before I wire up my first car in 30+ years, and I'm an elec mech engineer by trade so it really is 'my bag ' so to speak

Not Really, I suppose in a 'PC' World I should have said Pron, ?

I guess you could say RC-Car wiring PRO, but I basically meant really pretty or inventive or different wiring jobs that stand out for one reason or another? from just standard good quality wiring to over-the-top wiring to suit an all aluminium shelf queen style build? Just interested in wiring jobs where the Owner/builder has gone above and beyond, rather than just a quick blob of solder on a couple of connectors...

Whilst I know some will just want to shove batteries in an RTR and bash or race, there's usually a part of most hobbies where people take things to the unnecessary extreme and it's that, I was asking for on the wiring side really? as I said I've seen a couple of fabric sleeved wiring jobs that really set the car off on the inside, and wondered if there was a thread for the elec side and or a thread for that kind of higher-end install really, traditionally it would be called Car porn or Engine porn etc. when related to cars... nothing XXX about it, just a simple way to describe the 'extreme enthusiast level of workmanship I was looking for

I get it now . . . my apologies for not being familiar with this particular specialized RC vernacular. Yes, I agree, "over -the-top" designs in any specialized interest tends to get shuttled off into the realm of the exotic to the point that it is ignored or seen as an oddity and is thus ignored by the masses. It's too bad it can't be just appreciated for what it is and not compared to what it isn't.

I am doing that to an extent with my unique RC vehicle GoPro camera installations. I am pushing them to the limit of what images I can capture from a remote controlled moving platform. It is a twofold process: The capturing of a stable usable image and then the editing of those images into a storyline that has entertainment value all it's own. This makes for what I call, a "fusion hobby," one made up of many unrelated parts but when brought together, produces something unique . . . I hope.
