RC Pit Mats. post your work area

Here is my basement work space where I do most of my design and light assembly work. My primary “pit mat” is actually foam drawer liner. It’s cheap, ($7.99 at marshals) so if you muck it up too badly, just throw it away and cut a new piece. It comes on a six foot roll so you can cut it to whatever length you need. On top of that I use a silicone rubber mat with the different trays and magnetic areas. I love that thing! I also use a small cutting pad on the side.

In the last week I’ve swapped over to my finished basement room (from my unfinished RC lab). It’s the ultimate toy room now. Got the 3D printer up and running, so cool.

Now that is a well organized bag. I hope one of these days I can build a similar workspace. And kudos to all those with well organized workspaces. I'm sure I will pcik from some your ideas and setups to build mine.

This is like Baby's First RC Workstation. I don't even have a tool mat yet! (I wish I'd known about tool mats when I was first into this stuff as a teen years ago.)

Looks like a proper LHS...the main difference being that everything is in stock!

Why do you take the wheels off some of them?

Those guys were just being worked on at the time so the wheels were off for ease of access.
