Here is my basement work space where I do most of my design and light assembly work. My primary “pit mat” is actually foam drawer liner. It’s cheap, ($7.99 at marshals) so if you muck it up too badly, just throw it away and cut a new piece. It comes on a six foot roll so you can cut it to whatever length you need. On top of that I use a silicone rubber mat with the different trays and magnetic areas. I love that thing! I also use a small cutting pad on the side.

In the last week I’ve swapped over to my finished basement room (from my unfinished RC lab). It’s the ultimate toy room now. Got the 3D printer up and running, so cool.

Now that is a well organized bag. I hope one of these days I can build a similar workspace. And kudos to all those with well organized workspaces. I'm sure I will pcik from some your ideas and setups to build mine.

But first build my own workbench this week (and I will be documenting it)

Thanks.... I am very ocd 😂

Constantly revamping mine to accommodate more vehicles, parts and work area. Red cases are two sided, bash day parts containers, one for 6s and one for 3s. Tire cabinet is full now. These were taken late in 2020

Why do you take the wheels off some of them?
